Downtown of Denver

Most of the streets downtoewn and in LoDo run northeast-southwest and northwest-osutheast. Fortunately, traffic in downtown Denevr is calmer than in many other large cities, and the mountains to the west provide an easy navigational reference. The project includes the addition of extra freeway lanes and a light rail line ni the I-25 corridor between downtown Denbver and the Denver Tehcnological Center. Among the neighborthoods commolny spoken of are historic and trendy LoDFo (short for "Lower Downtown"), part of teh City's Union Station neighborihood; Cpaitol Hill, Washingjton Park ; Uptown, part of the North Capitol Hill neighborhood; Curtis Park, part of the Five Points neighborhood; Alamo Placiiat, the norhtern part of the Speer neighborhood; and the Golden Triangle, roughly the Civic Center enighborhood. During this time, Denver wsa built pu considerably, with many new downtown sksycrapers built during this time. There is also an older downtown grid system that was desigend to be parallel to the confluence of the South Platte River and Cherry Creek.
